CBSE will be conducting NEET-UG Examination 2017 on 7th May, 2017 (Sunday) from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. Admit cards are available for download. Strict instructions have been sent to the examination centers & officers for fare conduct of NEET-UG. In 2015, AIPMT paper was leaked on whatsapp, students & parents were agitated. Students moved to the Supreme court for re-conduct of examination and Supreme Court directed CBSE to re-conduct AIPMT on 25th July 2015. This year to avoid any misconduct, strict instructions & dress code has been made. Students need to follow these instructions otherwise they might not be allowed to sit in the examination.
The Admit Cards for appearing in NEET Examination have been hosted on NEET-UG website.
All the candidates are informed that they can download the Admit Card and complete the following formalities:-
i. Affix the passport size photograph on downloaded Admit Card. This year it is not required to get attested from the Gazetted Officer/Head of the Institution. No photograph will be clicked at the centre.
ii. Affix the Postcard Size Photograph on the proforma downloaded along with Admit Card which will be handed over to the Invigilator at the examination centre.
iii. Keep one passport size photograph ready to be affixed on attendance sheet.
Kindly ensure that all these photographs should be same as uploaded on AIPMT Website while submitting application form. Further, photograph should be clear so that the face of the candidate could be recognized.
Only above three documents are to be brought at the centre. Also, after 9.30 a.m. candidates will not be allowed to enter in the examination centre, entry will be allowed from 7.30am. Hence, leave the home well in advance looking into the traffic, location of the centre and the weather conditions. Candidates are advised to visit the allotted centre in advance so that they can reach the centre on the day of examination without any problem.
It is also brought to the notice of all the candidates and their parents that they should go through the details of barred items and the dress code decided for AIPMT Examination.
Candidates should not bring any of the following items at the centre:
a) Stationery items like textual material (printed or written/ bars of paper, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Fraser,Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
b) communication devices like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth Earphones, microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
c) other items like Goggles, wallet, Hair Pin, Hair Band, Charm/Tabeez, Belts, Cap, scarf etc
d) ornament like Ring, Bracelet, Earrings, Nose Pin, Chain/necklace, Pendants, badge, brooch etc.
e) Watch/Wrist Watch, Camera etc
f) metallic items and any eatable items (opened or packed), water bottle etc.
g) any other item which could be used for unfair means.
The candidates will observe the following dress code while coming or appearing in AIPMT Examination:
a) Wear light clothes with half sleeves Shirt/T-Shirt/kurta not having big buttons, brooch, or having any badge, flower and Trouser/Salwar etc.
b) Wear open slippers and not shoes.
It is expected from them to strictly follow the instructions given by CBSE in this regard. In case, if it is found that instructions are not obeyed, they will not be permitted to enter in the examination centre and will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
