NEET-UG 2019 Update: NEET Online Registration Starts from Today, Last Date is 30th November

NEET-UG 2019 Online registration has has started from today and will be over on 30th November,2018. NEET-UG 2019 will be for the first time conducted by National Test Agency. Only the conducting body has changed but exam remains same as last year. Same pattern and language option will be available. This year for the first time registration has started in the November which in past use to start in December-January. There is no option for late registration and those candidate left out after 30th November will not have option for registration. Exam is scheduled on 5th May 2018 across 140+ cities in India in pen & paper mode only.

For the first time timing of exam is from 2pm to 5pm on 5th may against earlier timing of 10am to 1pm. This will be help candidates as earlier there use to be many reports of candidates reaching centre late and not being allowed to enter examination centre. The entry to examination hall will begin from 11am and only after physical frisking candidates will be allowed to move to examination hall. Only Admit Card and Photo will be allowed to carry and no barred items will be allowed. Candidates need to follow dress code like last year to escape any last moment embarrassment.

Due to early start of registration the eligibility age has been been reduced by 1 month from January to December (Not significant). Upper age limit is still 25 years for general and there is relaxation of 5 years for OBC/SC/ST .The lower age limit is 17 years (till December 2019). The eligibility rules are same as last year. There is no attempt limit as mentioned in NEET-2017. Candidates from Open school like NIOS are also eligibile and candidates who have take Biology as additional subject or candidates who have passed Biology as extra subject after PCM are also eligible.

Aadhar Card is not mandatory this time any government id will be accepted. Registration fee is ₹1400 for General and OBC (NCL) while ₹750 is for SC/ST & Transgenders. Last date for payment of fees is 1st December and Option for UPI payment has been also added other than Debit/Credit Card/Net banking/E-Challan.

 3.Material to be brought on the day of examinationAdmit Card and Passport size Photograph
 4.Rough WorkAll rough work is to be done in the Test Booklet only. The candidate will not do any rough work or put stray mark on the machine gradable Answer Sheet.
 5.Use of Blue/Black Ball Point Pen onlyPen will be provided at the centre for writing of particulars on the Test Booklet and responses on the Answer Sheet.


 6.Barred items :-
The candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the Examination Centre under any circumstances. The candidates will be subjected to extensive and compulsory frisking before entering the Examination Centre with the help of sensitive metal detectors.
 (a).Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
 (b).Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
 (c).Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
 (d).Any Watch/Wrist Watch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
 (e).Any ornaments
 (f).Any eatable item, opened or packed, water bottle etc.
 (g).Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like microchip, camera, Bluetooth device etc.

Candidates for the first time will be video-graphed individually inside the examination hall and Candidates need to show their face to camera. Earlier too videography was done but showing face camera was not necessary. There is option for one time correction in some fields allowed which scheduled in January 2019 but candidates should fill online application very carefully. Any confusion in filling any details should be cleared before filling application. Demo Application will be also provided on Candidates should also take print out of confirmation and possibly write somewhere safely the login password, as we seen many cases of candidates forgetting login details at the time of taking out of Admit Card.
