NEET 2017 Online Application from 2nd January, Aadhar Card compulsory

This year NEET-UG Online application registration will begin from 2nd January, 2017 which was earlier expected to start from December. NEET application will be available online only, online facilitation centres will be available in some cities. Students who don’t have facility for online registration can go at facilitation centre and no charges will be taken for the service. NEET-UG 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on 7th May, 2017 across the nation. Exam will be conducted in single phase only. Registration process without late fee will be over by end of January. Appliacation procedure will be completely online, candidates will have to upload photograph and singnature online. There is no need to send soft copy of application to CBSE.

Candidates are required to pay application fee online. There will be option for payment through Debit card, credit card, e-challan, SBI buddy and e-wallet. Students should keep copy of application form and payment slip safely and carefully. One time correction facility may be given but only in certain field, so candidates must fill form carefully. Examination centres will be avialble across the nation, you can choose nearest centre of choice. Correction in examination centre may not be allowed. All the details about admission process for NEET is expected to be available from last week of december. Candidates should download Inforamation bronchure and read it very carefully before filling of forms.

Candidates should keep necessary documents ready for filling online form e.g. recent minimum 8 copies of Passport size photograph with white background. From this year onwards, Aadhar card has been made compulsory. Candidates have to fill their aadhar card number in application form for easy identification of candiadte. This has been done to avoid multiple filling of application and fake identity. Students not having aadhar card should make their aadhar card at the earliest. For those candidates who are unable to make aadhar card (like me) due non-scanning of fingerprints by fingerprint scanner, due to which their aadhar application are rejected should contact CBSE for possible solution. Candidates who are yet to receive aadhar card should fill aadhar application registration number.

NEET-UG 2017 will pen and paper based with single correct multiple choice questions from Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Total 180 question will be asked out of there will be 90 questions from Biology, 45 from Physics and 45 from Chemistry. Total marks is 720, for each correct response 4 marks will be given and -1 nwgative marking will be done for incorrect response. No marks will be given for unanswered questions. Students need to follow strict rules and dress code during examination.
