Telangana EAMCET 2 for for MBBS & BDS courses was conducted on 9th July. About 47,644 students qualified for the state colleges seats. Parents protested at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), which is conducting body, for alleged leak of paper. The case has been registered by EAMCET convenor NV Ramana Rao after he reported the large scale irregularities to DGO Anurag Sharma. The Telangana Police Chief ordered a CID probe into alleges leakage of TS EAMCET II question papers.
Telangana CID were enquiring the matter. The officials of Telangana CID say at least 29 students got undue benefit by accessing question paper. The students were taken to Mumbai, Bangalore and Kanigiri in AP by few brokers and given questions with answers. Advance money of Rs.20 lakh were taken from the candidates.
“We are suspecting that the paper had leaked from the printing press in New Delhi. However, we are still in the process of gathering evidence” a senior Telangana police official said.
After these revelation by CID it will be unfair to the meritious students to take admission on the TS-EAMCET 2 result as the number of candidates will be higher than 29. Details about these is yet to come, we will update here as more information are available.
