Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

I have filled Code 03 instead of Code 02, will my application get cancelled ?
Don’t worry, your application won’t get cancelled neither you need to worry about changing it. Qualification Codes are just for proper categorisation of candidates, admission eligibility will be based on the documents you produce at the time of counselling.

Can I change Code 03 to Code 02 in NEET-UG application form ?
You won’t get option to change qualification code in one time correction opportunity. Don’t worry this will not affect your eligibility.

Currently I am studying in B.Sc 2nd year, which code should I choose?
As per rule, students undergoing undergraduate course are not eligible. Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/College/University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute/College/University” will not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical/Dental College. You must produce original Class X & XII marksheet and passing certificate at the time of counselling. If you can get these orginal documents then you can apply for NEET-UG as Class 12th passed candidate.

I have passed Class 12th from NIOS, can I apply for NEET-UG?

Since the issue relating to eligibility of students who have passed 10+2 from National Institute of Open Schooling or State Open Schools or as private candidates from recognised State Boards; or with Biology/Biotechnology as additional subject is Sub-judice before the Court, the candidates from these categories are provisionally permitted to fill the Online Application form. Final decision will be made after court order.

Hope this explanation helps you understand better your Qualification Code. If you have filled your Code 02/03 incorrectly, don’t worry.
